Alternative News from the Middle East

The free to air viewer has the advantage of watching world news (conflict in GAZA, Iraq, PAKISTAN, Afghanistan, etc ) from an alternative non-main stream media sources.

There are three 24hr English news channels on Galaxy 19 (97W) that are available Free to air (no monthly fee). These channels are:

• Al Jazeera International
• Russia Today
• Press TV

Also, Al Alam news channel (in Arabic) is currently broadcasting 24hr coverage of news from GAZA. 

These channels plus more than 100 additional FTA channels are on the same satellite. I am sure some of you can add to the list of FTA foreign news channels available.

A free to air satellite system is required to view these channels:
