You will be searching for what's called "Free To Air" channels that are in the clear and require no subscription or monthly fee. There are tons of these channels, you just have to search. You will be surprised sometime of what you find.
In order to start with this hobby, you will need a motorized KU Band satellite receiver system which includes a DVB receiver, dish antenna, LNBF, and HH Motor. Once you get the dish aimed correctly at the "Clarke Satellites Belt" you will start searching right away. The receiver becomes your browser and motor control.
